Shared foundations

Platform Team

A team on the foundations every product sits on: environments, pipelines, data, and the standards your other teams build to.

Overview

Most delivery problems are not in any one product. They are in the ground underneath them: deployments nobody trusts, environments that drift, data in four shapes, and no agreed way to build. A Platform Team owns that ground: the pipelines, the environments, the shared services, and the standards your own teams build to.

We put our agents on your systems as part of the work, so your developers get the same help ours do.

Who it is for

A technology leader whose teams are slowed down by the platform rather than by the features, or who is standing one up for the first time.

What you get

  • Deployments, environments, and pipelines your teams can rely on
  • Our agents running on your own systems, available to your developers
  • Written standards your other teams build to
  • Deliverables agreed and reviewed every quarter

How it runs

  1. 1We review how your teams build and ship today, and agree what to fix first.
  2. 2We build the platform work and put our agents on your systems alongside it.
  3. 3Every quarter, we review the deliverables together and decide on the next quarter.

How you stop

Six-month minimum, with a checkpoint every quarter against set deliverables. If the first quarter disappoints, you can walk.

What comes next

When several products have to move at once on top of it, that is a Team of Teams.
